Thursday I taught a lesson on mardi gras to my second grade students. They loved it! I would ask questions about it and get their answers.  After each little section I went over I would ask questions about stuff we talked about. They all participated.  When the lesson was over I handed out a color sheet and the colored it. Friday I went to the middle school I don't do much in my classes there.  All I really do is sit there and watch them work quietly. I love elementary better than middle school!

Thursday in the second grade class that I go to I helped the children study for a test.  They were all shouting answers and excited to get them right.  I helped make part of a test too.  On Friday we started the middle school field experience.  I help an 8th grader.  I go to her classes with her and help her on things she needs help with.  I like it but I wish I could get more experience with the children.

Yesterday I went on a field trip to the bowling alley and then we went to chili's and Barnes and Nobles. I had an amazing time the kids were very rowdy at the bowling alley they were excited and hyper.  My favorite part was chili's I got an amazing Cajun pasta with grilled chicken and I had a coupon for a free appetizer.  I got spinach and artichoke dip.  We stayed a while and just talked.  When we left there we went to Barnes and Nobles each group got a book for their grade level.  we also got coffee from the coffee store.   When we left there we had the rest of the time to go in stores we wanted.  we went to pet smart and played with the cats.  We left at about 2:50 and came back to school.  It was a great day!

Yesterday I got to go back to my second grade class.  I was extremely happy to see them again, when they realized it was me they were so excited.  They took MAP test and if they did good they got to put  a sticker on their star in the hall way.  I took them in the hall and gave them star stickers and they put them on their stars.  They were so excited.  After they put their stars up they lined up to go to lunch.  I sat with the kids and helped them open their food.  we left at about 11:15.  It was a great day!

Yesterday was my first day in the pre-k class.  I loved the little kids they were so sweet.  I went to lunch with them.  I had to help them open all their stuff.  We went back to the class and they listened to a story then layed down for a nap.  While the students napped I talked to Mrs. Mandie about colleges.  I was late for the bus to go back to school and the other students had to come get me. 

yesterday in my second grade class I learned how to use a tens chart.  I walked around the room and checked the kids work.  They were doing great but a few were struggling.  When I was in second grade we didn't learn how to use a tens chart.  It was challenging but I got the hang of it.  I had a lot of fun.  I love going too work with the kids, I cant wait to become a teacher. 

I spent the whole day at the elementary yesterday.  It was awesome.  I cant wait to go back, I helped do everything.  The kids were so excited to see me.  When I got there they were doing morning work.  Then they had a snack and read a story out loud.  Then they went to a lab and we had a break.  When they came back we went to lunch.  I also went a played with them on the play ground.  I enjoyed going outside and playing with them.
